Experienced an earthquake this morning while tied up in Whittier. Shook the boat enough that I thought the surge gear was running off the back deck. No tsunami yet, but there is a fresh rock slide on the other side of passage canal.
The Tsunami alert has been cancelled. Significant damage in Anchorage but planes still landing at the airport
