Academy Grad Engineers. What was your hardest class?

This is a question for engineers who are academy grads. For those of you who didn’t take the full engineering route, and instead opted for the degrees that only include two years of calculus, which were your most difficult classes?

This includes MET grads at Cal Maritime, Maine Maritime, and Texas Maritime, Marine Engine Operations at SUNY, or Facilities Engineering at Mass Maritime. I think that covers the courses, but I am not positive. There could be more.

Thanks

Were you ME license track or MET? In the MET curriculum as of now, we just have a class called Dynamics, instead of fluid dynamics.

MET. We had statics and then dynamics with Fischer who is AWESOME! Fluid dynamics and fluids lab were a totally different thing.

The way they had the curriculum back then was so stupid. Fesh/sophomore year was pretty chill and then junior year they started dropping all the engineering classes and we had to take like 25 units second semester.

ooof. Brutal. I am happy that the curriculum has been updated. Did you have to go all the way through Differential Equations in order to take fluid dynamics?

no, we didn’t have to take diff eqs at all.
