!*!*!*!*!*! Able Seaman Limited Seeking WORK ASAP !*!*!*!*!

yes, please proclaim me the great one, thanks in advance

Since C-Captain is limited to what he can reply on I’ll take this one, Really! You come on here and say you need work ASAP oh but you want to be in the lakes and don’t do tugs, I have a thought. Take your MMC and light it on fire…l you won’t be needing it anytime soon.

C.capt has been gagged?!?! But who’s going to tell me how stupid and illiterate I am because im from the south?

Last time I checked I an adult with who has the power to chose what and where I will and will not work. It’s no different from saying I need a woman in my life asap but I don’t want a fat one. I have standards on which I operate and if you don’t like it, you didn’t have to waste your time commenting on my thread. To the guy who was actually helpful, I thank you and appreciate you taking the time give me some information that can possibly help me on my road to working offshore and not on a TUGBOAT… lol

Furthermore, you should have more respect for a veteran… Good day

further more, if you have nothing positive to say or contribute, simply don’t reply. I asked for help, not opinions on how I worded my darn sentences.

you’re still an idiot

Times are very tough, and its not the time to be picky, which in a nutshell is why you encountered some resistance here. Lots of folks starving. Speaking of, if you were starving and someone offered you a new york strip, would you say no thanks I prefer filet mignon?

yes but in this case he is being offered in many cases filet, or a nice thick ribeye and is saying no I only want a NY strip, and am only willing to pay $12 for it.

The good thing is I don’t need to worry about working with his assclown on my tug.

Never planned on working on tugs myself but I’m debating on going to the river right now… Got a friend saying there still working there ass off… Hell, while the GOM is in the slop, why not… The way I see it is I got a family to feed, take it however I can get it… And I agree on the $100 a day for deckhands. That’s where I started at and I watched a MANY of ā€œhandsā€, more like heart beats to fill a crew, come and go while I was there… And that was only 1 1/2yr- 2 yrs ago…

lol to be calling yourselves MEN, you all are really in your feelings to much for me.

Not all of us, but thanks for playing.

Exciting news for all the emotional men on this thread. Guess what. I got hired in the Great Lakes making $250 a day plus overtime on an AB ticket. And the best part is… wait for it… ITS A TUG!!! LMAO I cant wait to see the responses to this one.

Pretty clear who the emotional one is.

Congratulations. Suprised with your high standards you would work for that little, and on a tugboat of all things but hey youve got a job.

You’ll last a few weeks at most

Want a cookie?

Jarrell reminds me of that guy who says ā€œno fat chicksā€ then you see him macking on Large Marge on their date at Baskin Robbins.

Been towing since '95 … from the equator to the Bering Sea. Just cruised thru this conversation. Pretty funny. So Jarrell, you don’t realize it yet but you have been blessed. Smart ass attitude fits towboaters, so you got that part down. Now get as much experience on deck as you can, offer help constantly, even if it’s your offwatch and if you get a good Captain …you will learn a lot. You might be a tugboater and just don’t know it yet. Pull your head out of your arse … good luck

Grand River or Andrie?

Just make sure that you tell them several times a day that you don’t normally do tugs because they suck, and that you are only doing it until you can find a real job.

I meant to say its not a tug… I dont do tugs… i do do Frieghters tho lol. All you tugs got on your I told you so faces lol… NOTTTT
