A must watch....salvaging COSTA CONCORDIA on 60 Minutes

I’m trying to find the way to post the video directly to the forum but until I do, you can see it at this link.

It is an excellent piece well worth watching but I am still quite perplexed about the building of the platform beneath the wreck it is supposed to sit on yet after watching this, I am less skeptical than I was before.

Also, watch the “web extras” at the lower part of the page…fascinating!

HEY! Here’s a video I can post…

I think the link was busted for a while but I posted it here http://gcaptain.com/60-minutes-special-on-salvaging-the-costa-concordia-video/

Embedding videos only works for videos hosted on youtube (and maybe similar sites). Sites like CBS news may even take actions to prevent embedding, because they depend on people going to they site to get ad revenue.

Fascinating video. I think they can pull it off.

What’s with Leslie Stahl and the no hardhat thing?

A hardhat is meant to protect something. Listening to some of the comments, I wonder if there was anything to protect.:o
