I was going to attempt to get an Aux Sail endorsement while I’m at the academy. Basically going out on a few local schooners every so often. From what I can gather it takes 180 days for AB Sail but 360 days for just a plain Aux Sail endorsement? I cant find anything concrete in the CFR’s.

Do small sailboats in anyway work for Small Vessel Sea Time towards and Aux Sail Endorsement?
