Why I love this job - photos included

This is why I enjoy the simple things in life while working on the water!! I took these photos from my mobile phone from the hitch I just got back home from while in NY .

Some great photos of my hometown waters. Thanks concepts!

Here are the pics from my last hitch:

Love the scenery in those photos. The photo with the drill ship in blue waters is awesome! Thanks for sharing those.

These pictures make me want to go to sea again. I love the picture of the forward machinery space!

Thanks for sharing. At one time I was working for McAllsiter (tug Bridget McAllister) in NYC. We had some down time waiting on a barge. New to the harbor, I was given a guided tour of lower Manhattan at night by tug. The captain used the spotlight to highlight buildings…“Now you see this one over here…that is the…”. We went up the East river under the Brooklyn Bridge, then around the south end of Manhattan over to the Statue of Liberty, then up the Hudson past where the World Trade buildings were.

This one particular night watch remains the greatest memory I have working on the water.

Just loving every minute of it, Alaska, Saint Marteen, Harbor Island, Midway
