Ukraine

Riding off on a tangent is a tactic which is easily recognizable and frequently used in many debates in which liberal missionaries participate. Hence I flatly refuse to be drawn into such discussions.

My point in this Ukrainian debate is not about who is wrong and who is right , who is Hitler and who is not. My point from the very beginning is , that relying on one source of information and thus forming an opinion is like walking on a thin ice.

Hence i am throwing on the table links representing different points of view from different perspectives and i am not saying in definitive terms these are right . It means : please consider… I think it is reasonable.

I have thrown in this and “sister” threads enough literature and links which after reading and/or viewing should generate at least some reflection .

But all my efforts are wasted as all this is falling off like the water from ducks back, which by the way is another attribute / symptom of wokemon style of debates.

Reject the dissenting opinion, label it as conspiracy theory , ridicule the opponent, belittle him , stigmatize him/her, ban from social media, remove all records in search engines- all too well known symptoms of cancel culture , which claims the propriety rights to ultimate truth , their truth as only truth.

You rely on CNN, WAPO, NYT and others , that is fine with me and I have no problem with that at all. Your choice. I read both: right and left, conservative and liberal including center as it gives me a wider perspective . And that is reasonable too but it irritates the wokemons.

Please do not give me the" majority " sh…t as i have handled it a day or two ago with doctors example. Not enough to spark a reflection??

Then try S. Alinksy methods, open borders methods, “caring” for the proletariat methods, hand-outs , " voting mules" and other bizarre methods of creating majority including biased media joints. Or try J. Stalin formulas : QUOTE:

  1. I consider it completely unimportant who in the party will vote, or how; but what is extraordinarily important is this—who will count the votes, and how.

  2. The State is an instrument in the hands of the ruling class, used to break the resistance of the adversaries of that class.

or H. Goering
“Of course the people don’t want war. But after all, it’s the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it’s always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it’s a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger.”
— Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials
END QUOTE.

Therefore my Dear Comrade pls make verifiable effort and read the material i have suggested including " The war on the west" and listen to/watch the clips. Otherwise -PLEASE!!!

I posted the information above to answer your allegations of racism and explain the origin of my comments.

As you can guess, my family and I have experienced war and it’s after effects very close up for generatios, just bad luck and bad timing.

You appear to support Putin but won’t say how you think history will view his actions, pehaps you sense what is coming. An instinct worth trusting.

Putin will deploy a nuclear weapon and it will be the end of Russia as we know it, remember he is your monster and that is how history will remember him.

I will stop now

If you do you may continue the conversation in Polish. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Long term economic consequences of Ukraine war: loss of customers for Russian gas?

Putin made a gamble that when the war is over Europe will continue to buy energy from Russia as if nothing occurred. As if intimidating Europe with inflation and the fear of freezing to death won’t drive Europe to nuclear, as well as gas sources imported from Africa and North America, in addition to renewables, despite increased costs.

In a way I can understand why Germany sourced its gas from Russia. Thinking that countries once deadly enemies would be linked by trade, making war less possible. But, no pun intended, Russia has poisoned that well. Trust has been broken.

All this when the Greens already want to decrease hydrocarbon dependency. The Greens don’t like Nukes. Will they like being Putin’s bitch even less?

It may be that NATO’s greatest weapon against Russia would be serious plans to construct lng terminals and modern nuclear plants on an accelerated 10-year timescale, cutting Russia out of Europe’s energy equation.

To use prison lingo, Germany is now Russia’s bitch, and will remain so until it comes up with a different mix of energy. A large fraction of citizens will vote for change.

No, we should tag Heiwa and get him in here if his ban is up.

If freedom was a commodity I suppose I might care.

You may not but anyone saving for their kids college fund and a retirement might, and those that make the hard financial decisions for their families sure do.

There is nothing about our support for Ukraine that has anything to do with freedom.

I may be wrong of course but Folks “down under” are becoming concerned.

I am too, wondering who is really running the Ukraine show and it looks POTUS may soon be pardoning, prizing or calling individuals who did not pass away a month ago or few years ago but 100 years ago . It is getting real scarry folks.

(170) Piers Morgan: This is like Pearl Harbor - YouTube

I may be wrong OF COURSE but have read some books and seen some documentaries on Pearl Harbour attack but never heard about kamikaze hitting US Navy there. Looks like Piers Morgan has recently read some declassified documents or is creating a new myth and I am quite sure living and/or dead participants/victims of Dec 7th sneaky attack shall feel offended by such comparisons.
