Interior Secretary Ken Salazar issued revised rules on Monday for a six-month moratorium on deepwater oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, replacing an earlier one that had been declared invalid by federal courts.
The Secretary has concluded new suspensions are necessary because he has determined that new deepwater drilling would pose a threat of serious, irreparable, or immediate harm or damage to the marine, coastal, and human environment.
Perhaps if they cut back on their golfing and took a trip back down to La, they might realize this has already occurred. Guess they don’t need to improve the unemployment rate. Anybody that happens to be working on those 33 rigs, have fun in Brazil, and take pics to post. I hated Salazar when he was a CO senator, I really hate him now. What a jack*$$!!

Thank God I transferred to Trinidad. It may be a circus and I am in ring #2, but at least it is steady. Any word on layoffs in the GOM?
