The disturbance over the southwestern North Atlantic was centered near 25N 70W this morning and is forecast to continue to deepen with gale force winds and seas likely to the north of the center due to the strong pressure gradient between the low and strong high pressure to the north. This system is primarily an extra-tropical system with some sub-tropical elements, at best and conditions remain unfavorable for tropical development.
