Sea Star's El Faro

It didn’t sound good from the beginning. Loss of propulsion and a 15 degree list (that is a hell of a list, much much bigger than it sounds), some flooding, and laying to in hurricane was a particularly grim first report. Two days of stationary hurricane only made it worse. Although I suspect that she went down about the time communication was lost.

If the ship were still afloat or aground, it should have been found in the past eight hours of good search conditions. At this point it seems very unlikely that the ship is anywhere but on the bottom of the ocean.

There is still some hope for the crew. Did they have survival suits?
