Might have been the spirit I made a pass through the bridge as we passed them. I asked the 3rd mate and he rattled off the names. I remembered the CR Luigs because I’ve worked that one before and I remember when it was brand new. Hell at that time it was only a handful of drillships in the gulf. Fracked a lot of holes with the pathfinder and the millennium too.
Must be a few stacked drillships in Korea I would imagine?

That’s the South of LOOP drillship graveyard that DW Champion is in now. CS or idled, or between contracts, don’t know… but not on a hole for sure.

[/QUOTE]Yeah, I did some googling, and it looks like the DWC was sublet out to Freeport McMoran by Exxon, so that table may be overall correct, but there’s some behind the scenes wheeling and dealing between the majors and minors that may be catching the drilling companies in the fray.
