She is new trading on the Norwegian coast.
She is in Ålesund today, but too murky to get a good picture, so I borough one from Marine Traffic:
When KARAMAN left her builders J.J. Sietas in Hamburg in January 1979 she represented a modern container feeder vessel with an intake of 306 TEU. Some of the charter names like SCANDUTCH SICILIA (1986-1992), NEDLLOYD ANTILLES (1992-1998) and MSC ECUADOR (2001-2002) document her usefulness to major container line operators. With the rapid growth of feeder vessel sizes her container service came to an end in 2004 when she was converted to a self-unloading 5,670 tdw mini bulker and renamed to HEIDI. Currently operated by Norwegian Myklebusthaug Group HEIDI is seen unloading stones at Kiel March 5th. Photo : Martin Lochte-Holtgreven ©

The Emergency Towing Vessel ‘SA Amandla’ was recently refreshed with a coat of paint after a period of high utilization for marine emergency response and towage operations off the South African coast. AMSOL would like to thank her Master, Officers and Crew for being on call 24/7/365 under challenging conditions to respond to emergencies in support of the South African government’s national marine pollution prevention strategy. In 2020, the tug prevented approximately 31 500 tonnes of oil pollutants from entering the marine environment by towing disabled vessels to safety and preventing groundings.
