NTSB Preliminary Report M/V Dali

Jet fuel burning melted the steel and brought down the World trade center. And yes, it happened. Just as the atom bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. As info, the Holocaust also happened.

What did not happen is the Dali running aground and contacting the Key bridge.

Don’t think you will understand … but try this … there was no ‘criminal sabotage’

You are a moron. Jet fuel cannot melt steel but it can weaken it enough to fail.Beginning to think you are one of the first bots… before they got more intelligent, which isn’t saying much

(1354) No, jet fuel can’t melt steel. But it did burn hot enough to damage World Trade Center’s structure - YouTube

every half truth is a full lie.

Come on .You are an engineer.
" Flame spread rate is as low as ~6 cm/sec for Jet-A, HEFA, FT-S8 for 25°C initial fuel temperature and goes to as high as 160 cm/sec for 80°C initial fuel temperature. For SIP based jet fuel, flame spread rate is ~160 cm/sec for initial fuel temperature of 128°C."

" While several more fuel-efficient aircraft are traversing the skies today, a Boeing 747 quadjet burns up to one gallon of fuel every second . Every. Second. That means that during a five-hour flight, a Boeing 747 will burn 18,000 gallons of fuel."

" Detonations in gases propagate with velocities that range from 5 to 7 times the speed of sound in the reactants. For hydrocarbon fuels in air, the detonation velocity can be up to 1800 m/s ."
,
Lenght of time, elasticity at certain temp, loss of intial strenght , mass of steel and large amount of other factors need to be taken into account. How fast 50 K Gal exlplodes?

I can light a gas stove and heat a tiny (dia 0.001 mm) wire damaging it’s structe in almost an instant .But it will not work so fast with 1000 mm steel bar I suppose.

Regarding the video the engineer was talking to a mob of morons who have not even seen a cover of any book re phisics. And minds much superior then all forum combined and turbo charged are still debating . Pointless to do it here. How about extraterrestials inside the Moon ???  .

By the way how abt the other building that collpsed faster then
9.81 m/(sec * sec) with ZERO FUEL help . Looks like a miracle or devine intervention

By the way .It would be a time consuming to measure the difference btw initial heading of Dali prior to engine problem ( the initial heading one can get from charts) and the final heading upon hitting the underwater part of the bridge using the video ( change of spect) .

From the point where camera was installed it looked that upon inpact the nav. lights were almost in line…, That is quite huge change of aspect. With a ruler, piece of paper and video only i may not live long enough to figure . May be You can enlist some help???
Cheers

Sorry but it didn’t melt the steel. It didn’t have to melt it to take down the building, it only had to get it to around 1300F for it to lose its structural strength. The columns were already bent out of alignment and lost their load bearing ability and the insulating layer intended to protect them from fire damage.
Jet fuel burning in air at sea level pressure can reach 1500F and up to 3800F if there is enough wind blast to provide a leaner mixture. Look at what the wind in a fire storm can do to materials that normally burn at low temperatures.

You should know this : A fool is known by his speech, and a wise man by silence.

You would make much better impression by not speaking .

Thanks for confirming :joy:. :joy: :joy: :joy: :joy:
Noticed long time ago that You are a “rubber” .
Told you … and U did not follow my friendly advise .
Cheers

Sure, pick on the guy who’s picking on the holocaust denier.

Sure. But he is not picking on me , hence I am not picking on him. Scratch my back and I will scratch yours. Besides do not take it too seriously. I like blokes that jibe me here if You have not noticed  .

You are my favourite but I have skin of a rhino and do not get offended easily .Trust You are so too and enjoy a friendly banter.

Heiva may be is eccentric but it does not bother me at all .I love “diversity” if You have not noticed. Stirring the hornets nest is fun,may be dangerous  . Now You know maritime trolls like me is a good thing when all are already yawning with boredom and topic is dying .

Besides 10 hrs of passive listening to american or other english as well as reading is not enough . I need to talk to somebody  . Keep that in mind and keep jibing  otherwise i will get rusty. Cheers.

Guys - the jet fuel melting steel reference was intended for Heiwa … a taste of his own medicine.

There were a number of other materials involved in the fire besides steel and jet fuel. Furnishings, wood, plastics, aluminium would have all contributed.

You Sir sound like a very skillful politician with your magic. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:.

Are You for reelection or something???

If so You have my Yes for IMO High Commisioner so You can mąkę me Your assistant.

I am excellent in carring suitcase, lighting cigars , i do loundry too but i am best in damage control .

I am so charming that walking through the crowded UN coridores will be easy as 10ft of privacy and safety zone around You will always be secured.

What do You say???

You are too much Spo! or actually ‘lol’

When I saw his first post I dismissed it as one of those geeks with conspiracy theories. And then when Freighterman responded, I realized he must be ‘wired’ differently or has undergone a frontal lobotomy. As you say, instead of reading through the extensive posts here (and NTSB report), he comes up with the nonsensical post.

I have been in shipping since 1969 and two of my ships have been sunk due to sabotage! Strangely enough the national accident investigators concluded that the two incidents were accidents due to fault of my Masters and insurances paid. I know about many other ships sunk due to sabotage, where the authorities concluded it was “heavy weather” and ROTFL!
