I had LASIK about a decade ago with few issues- in fact, I was corrected from 20/400 (right) and 20/600 (left) to 20/30 in each eye, which is remarkable. Then cataracts set in and I had those removed. Now I have recently learned that I have a (repairable) eye disorder, but I am managing it with eye drops for the moment with two intraocular lenses that have eliminated almost all of my remaining astigmatism. I need cheap readers for close work, that is about it. Eye surgery has come a long way.
