MSC Houston V arrives in Vigo after cargo shift off Portugal

The Portuguese-flagged container ship MSC Houston V encountered adverse weather conditions off the southern coast of Portugal on 20th March, resulting in a cargo shift. Around 15-20 containers reportedly fell into the sea near Cape St. Vincent, within Portuguese waters.

Since APL China it has proven to be very complicated because :
" The phenomenon is hard to predict and poses a threat to vessel, cargo, and crew safety. "

I am not sure if algorithms will fix it but wish them luck. The old rule of good weather navigation was to avoid bad weather instead of getting into it and then avoiding the obvious cosequences. Suspect it is a lot easier or rather was easier in the past.

Reminds me of getting into the herd of stampeding bufallo with some smart toy with magic algorithm helping you to avoid ending on the horns.
