I haven’t experienced a SIRE inspector giving grief about line strength. I have experienced lines breaking. It kinda sucks.
Crew safety should dictate WLL.

Any chance someone has a Mooring System Management Plan from the tanker vessel? We are working with the dry fleet and obviously don’t have to comply with OCMIF but we have used MEG4 to improve our mooring practices. Would be good to see the real plan, it could be sanitised with all the sensitive info removed.
