Stayed near Battery Park for a few training schools. It will bring a tear to your eye the history of our blessed maritime industry, also a bit of pride to have been a part of it.

Yeah, I recall going down the Coast Guard Station in Battery Park for some reason just before or after I passed my first license exam. . . there is a lot of maritime history in NY and the northeast that I often take for granted. Not so much down here in Houston. . .
