the SE coast of Florida with it’s many highrises is in MATTHEW’s sights. There has not been a hit from such a powerful storm from the east onto this coast since 1992 when ANDREW narrowly missed the much more heavily built up and populated area of Miami and the area northwards and that one wrecked devastation which it took years to recover from.
right now it remains not known where MATTHEW will strike the coast…let us all hope for the sake of so many that this very powerful hurricane stays away from the densely packed coast between Miami and West Palm Beach and that the destruction is not catastrophic.
