Absolute shithole BUT - though you pay, parking lot right next to the building. Just a walk to the REC. There was wifi and the joint was hop and skip from the REC on foot. GREAT coffee to be had across the street from the main entrance of REC.
Man, we have something in common. That place is nasty!!! Affordable though. I stayed there for the week spring 2011 for around $400… Never took off my footwear though. Needless to say I kept a handgun in my room. Bunch of foreigners smoking pot in the next room over. The breakfast downstairs is pretty good as well.
