The chart depicts the end of the USA empire. Military expenditures and empire broke the Soviet Union, the British, the Romans etc… Such a level of spending is not for defense but for enrichment of an oligarchy and is simply not sustainable. When you spend more than all your allies combined on the military there is something besides “defense” going on. The USA leaders would rather starve their citizens, kill social security, let infrastructure crumble, unemployment soar and deny its citizens healthcare than cut one cent from the insane military spending or ask those getting rich off this insanity to contribute one dime of their billions. To listen to the pundits in the USA you would think this insanity is because of the poor people If they could just cut out “food stamps” they could give Lockheed a few more billion and things would be great.The rest of the world secretly laughs and waits for the inevitable demise of the USA’s historically very brief time at the top.
