A few days ago, while watching theMissippi River from Harvey Canal locks, I saw a tug docked on the New Orleans side, just a few hundred yards downstream, and it was connected to a single barge that contained what I think was the BP blowout preventer. Moored astern of it was a heavy lift vessel with two integral cranes. It was being bunkered.
Has the blowout preventer moved out of country?
