This is a complete misrepresentation of the facts. The Chief Mechanic, has no influence on the well and decisions pertaining to it. And, TO have a very big part of this mess. The TP and Driller are also culpable for failures surrounding the Negative test, the test if performed correctly would have alerted the crew to the imminent danger. We just needed the guys who were conducting the tests to understand what they were performing. This is a TO failure as much as a BP one.
Drop the sensationalist style and address the facts and report on the BP website. If you disagree with the facts, fine, but don’t offer us You-Tube and journalistic crap for clarification.
