So, a [I]Scottish[/I] government agrees to deport Megrahi from a [I]Scottish [/I]prison on the recommendation of a [I]Scottish[/I] judge sitting under [I]Scottish[/I] jurisdiction (in the face of objections from the British - English - government) and you’re going to “punch the next person from England”?
Actually his deportation had nothing to do with BP - megrahi was specifically excluded from the prisoner exchange deal - and everything to do with suppressing his appeal against conviction - dropping his appeal was a condition of deportation.
