Ok… So is the reason that this didn’t work in top kill the fact that they couldn’t pump mud in at a high enough flow rate though the choke and kill lines to overcome the upward flow plus lost flow? But now that they have a larger “pipe”, they can flow mud in at a higher rate? To hopefully overcome any loss zones?
