I saw the other story on her weeks ago & forot about it. I think somehow she has taken on the role of an activist. It is pretty obvious that she didn’t want that role & she surely isn’t some high priced outsider with some bullshit agenda. She is concerned about her family & her community. Evidently she was asked by someone in the government to hang around BP’s operations as a watchdog. So there you have it. Is she some kind of whacked out weirdo with an off the wall agenda? I didn’t hear her begging for money. So what did she ask for? She asked for honesty in air quality testing & to have her family be evacuated if/since this thing gets out of control. SHe also asked that the workers on this disaster be given proper respirators to use. BP & OSHA have denied them that option, because its either an all or none deal for them. Since they don’t have enough respirators & can’t maintenance them properly, no one can have one. They can’t even buy their own & wear it. They will be fired on the spot for taking any extra precautions in protecting themselves. Isn’t that nice of your friendly BP that wants to make everyone whole. BTW, she said in most of the meetings she’s been to, one of the first things brought up is cutting costs. Don’t give me this bullshit about BP changing their stripes if they are allowed to survive.
