Deepwater Horizon - Transocean Oil Rig Fire

Can anyone say with any certainty what has happened to the riser and where it is at? Is the upper end still connected to the rig and/or the bottom end still connected to the BOP? Either end cannot take a anything more than a 10degree inclination with out failing and obviously when the rig went down both had to exceed those angles. Also risers are bouyant so since no pieces have floated to the surface says the riser is still connected somewhere and must be intact to some extent.

Another questions is if there has been any word as to what the attitude of the rig is sitting on the seafloor? I would suspect that there were empty ballast tanks before the rig went down and it is just possible that their vent checks might have prevented them from flooding. If they are still unflooded then the rig could possible have gone belly up on the way down and landed that way. if so, no way to conduct an ROV investigation oof what happended on the rig floor but very good news for the 700k gallons of diesel never escaping.

Anybody have any answers or guesses to my questions?
