The problem is, most of those ideas assume casing integrity. I couldn’t undertand why - once the riser was cut - they didn’t go in with an inflatable packer and siphon off just like a DST test. But the answer has become obvious - as numerous posts and limks have indicated - the subsea structure can’t handle the pressure and there is no cement bond integrity with annulus channels to surface.
