I don’t see any obvious signs of impact damage to the helideck. Pic D clearly shows the platform and foam monitors for helicopter ops forward of the helideck, there is a natural break in the netting there as there would be no netting over that platform.
Sometimes the helideck is used as a temporary transit/storage area when working with boats. The hole is rectangular(ish) which suggests to me that they could have had some waste oil tanks sat there?
