Bouchard has a decent amount of ATBs but Hornbeck has none AFAIK. I heard someone got in big trouble over there for missing the ATB craze that has swept East Coast new builds.
Nah, its hard to point the finger at Todd Hornbeck. It was his decision to avoid the pin rush. The philosophy was: Hornbeck will operate cheaper than an ATB and we will grab all the contracts because our bottomline will be so much lower. (Said while most of their units languish on anchor either weatherbound or off charter because they have to wait for the ATBs that have rushed past them to discharge!)
