I think you assume that all the big ship MM folks on here know nothing about small vessels, and that is a dangerous assumption.You’re not the resident expert on sailing vessels, and appear to know almost nothing about large ship operations.
In one (or more) posts you complain that KJ wouldn’t lift Triumph on deck because it was a sailing vessel, and in another you clearly state that a sailing vessel couldn’t come alongside without dismasting and other major damage. Can’t have it both ways…

Just out of curiosity @DougSabbag, how long would you have been able to wait in the water while the ship sailed away and back in order to reposition itself upwind of you, assuming that the ship was able even find you again?
