I’m sure the sub would be flying colours at half mast if that were the official requirement of the Norwegian Government ie an officially promulgated period of mourning.
It is, until after the funeral (9. Sept).
Even if not required by law it would be expected that a visiting Naval vessel from an allied nation would have the courtesy to do so.
PS: Shetland is not required to follow Norwegian “officially promulgated period of mourning”, yet: LOCAL tributes have been paid to King Harald V of Norway, who has died earlier today (Friday) in Oslo at the age of 89.
It appears that most people around the world agree with my view,
