I’m sure being slapped with coonassatism was a cultural shock. That old shallow water equipment from the '50s and '60s always worked 7/7 until they moved foreign. Cramped quarters were a little more tolerable. I left the oilfield in '85 and did notice a slight improvement. No comparison between the equipment then and now.
