Team New Zealand Wins America's Cup Again

And oddly enough the 12 Meter class seems quite active too. I would pay $$$ to go to or watch a 12 Meter plus J Class regatta. I could cruise all over the place in my RIB offering Grey Poupon

It was the only way the maths would work before GPS.

Whoops, powerabout was the intended recipient.

The J class Velsheda was down here for one America’s Cup series and she had a bit of work done. There are still some real craftsmanship available in a number of boatbuilders here. I believe she had a bath (naval parlance a long handled shower) with three plug holes so you could always let the water out.
If there had been the money around I would have picked Archibald Logan to have built a world beating J class back in the day. Some of his yachts are still sailing today.

Endeavour (K4) and American Eagle (US21), Isle of Wight.

Cheers,

Earl
