I like to say first, there’s no 1 correct way to invest. Everyone has to do their own thing at the time in their life when it is appropriate.
I’m no genius nor do I have any formal financial training but predicted the -20% declines that would indicate a start of a recession or bear markets on March 8th. I started this thread in the premarket hours on Mar 9th before the dip below the -20% benchmarks. I don’t think we need crystal balls, just watch the S&P/Dow/Russell futures & pay attention to what happened with Asian & European markets while we were asleep & we can make pretty safe predictions of when to rebalance.
BTW, I still haven’t rebalanced back into cash yet. I think this vaccine news will send the Dow up another 1000 & S&P up a couple hundred in the next 4-6 weeks. Then I’ll do my bi-annual rebalance.
