Anybody worked on a ship where the crew is from all over? Any tips on getting onto a ship where you’re probably going to be the only American?

Well at msc it seems everyone but the officers are filipino fresh off the boat. In this case all you need to be is a warm body.
so far my clique was from:
nigeria,bangladesh,pakistan,filipino,india,indonesia.
good team work so far.
no harm,because chief cook from malaysian.
sometime’s they cooked rare malaysia traditional food.
