gCaptain recently had a thread posted in regards to transport1040 which is run by Coleen Emery. The post brought into question the security of their website which allowed mariners to submit their tax information online. The thread also questioned non-tax related issue with her personal life and, for this reason, we where asked by some gCaptain members to take it down.
Because the thread contained non-tax related information of a personal nature and because Emery contacted us with answers to the original security concerns I removed the thread.
This action should not be considered an endorsement for or against transport1040 but rather a courtesy to our members who objected. If you have further concerns about this topic please feel free to contact Emery, or the member who posted the original concerns (via PM), or me directly.
