He fended off multiple impeachments, court cases, derision, illegal home invasions and a $megadoller Mueller manhunt which found no evidence of his alleged Russian collusion, but did find, but didn’t report, the exact opposite; Hillary did everything she accused Trump of.
Trump thrives on pushback. It identifies the snakes in his own administration and supplies him with a target rich environment for his newly expanded GITMO military courtrooms and a huge press centre. Don’t you wonder who that’s for. Treason is a military offence. Foreign election interference is treason. Watch this space.
I don’t, as you could guess. I’ll make you a bet. By year’s end you will have changed your mind on Trump. The stakes? An abject mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa on these pages.
Hasn’t Trump done well. All vessels passing through the strait will now pay a toll. So far apart from the obvious increase in feedstock that the refineries will have to pay the price of fertiliser and a myriad of other items such as PVC pipe and plastic resins will increase. Trades persons such as plumbers, builders and electricians are getting screwed over with price of diesel and the increase in material.

Is that really the case? If so Australia can charge tolls for passage through the Torres Strait, Turkey can toll ships through there too. Can the British charge for the Straits of Gibraltar?
As a mariner, you understand that under international maritime law, ships have a right of innocent passage through the territorial seas of another nation which includes straits like this.
Naturally our glorious UN has been vigorously using its exalted status to resolve such sticky issues. I know they must be doing lots of behind-the-scenes arm twisting because there’s no indication on the surface. Don’t expect that bunch of corruptocrats to resolve anything other than their fat pay and allowances.
Can’t you wait for the two week period to elapse before you declare utter defeat? There is no possible way the nations of the world will accept ongoing tolls imposed by a nation on one side of an international waterway. Just wait.

Well, sb said in one of the threads about the threat comedians and satyrist pose to governments/leaders . And it is true as their contribution to collapse of communism in many countries ,Soviet Union including is a proven fact. They shall be treated as combatants too IMHO
If your attention span was longer by a few seconds, you could have read on to the end of Trump’s tweet where he says,
