I find it disingenuous that the Israelis are hell bent on exterminating the Palestinian people because Hamas rose to lead them like Hitler rose to lead the Germans. Killing all men women and children is not a bright idea for future peace. At least the allies did not continue to exterminate the remaining women and children once the major leaders were killed .At the end of the day itā€™s just a land grab by Israel and Netanyahu waging a war to deflect attention from his own corruption.History will not judge the Israeli people well for this, it will only reinforce any preconceived notions of the Jewish people. ---

With 12 people on a yacht of that size with their kit and provisions where was the aid to the Palestinians? In someoneā€™s handbag? The murderous attack in October by Hamas was contemptible but Israel is losing the war of public opinion because they are using bruin not their brain. In all the publicity I have seen of starving Palestinian children I have yet to see a Palestinian male emancipated, hollow eyed and looking like the Ukrainian POWā€™s that were recently repatriated. Israel can be justifiably proud of their intelligence service even though it failed in October. Why didnā€™t they use it to prove that Hamas were basing their defence under hospitals and schools to international aid agencies instead of bombing the hell out of them. Hamas doesnā€™t care about the women and children of Palestine. They believe they are martyrs and will be rewarded in heaven. ---

And the ultimate insult to doom goblin, Greta, is for her to be flown away on a CO2-spewing jetliner to her next stupid look-at-me event, rather than sailing a lightly less CO2-spewing luxury yacht. We can all be greatly relieved that the aid she carried for the starving Hamas baby-killers of Gaza has been delivered and the war can continue unabated. I suppose the yacht will sail away with somewhat less international attention now the critical virtue signalling has been implemented. ---

If you took from my post that I fully supported Israel you were reading too much into it. The observation was that most of the time their intelligence seems very accurate. Being an Iranian nuclear scientist seems a very dangerous occupation. ---

Yeahā€¦ so you know that the arab invasion of the Levant was a 7th century colonization effort. Who were the people in the region for a couple of millenia prior to that again? People can fairly critique Israel, but there is a parallel between Israelā€™s post 1948 actions, the Reconquista of the Iberian Peninsula or the Risorgimento of presentent-day Italy, sufficient to make it reasonably hypocritical to present Israelā€™s militant self-interest as abnormal. ---
