# Safe access coming to the Middle East

Are Amplemann gangways replacing Swing ropes in the Middle East??:

When taking personal to a platform in Vietnam only the crane driver and dogman used the swing rope from a platform on the port quarter.  
After the crane was fired up everyone else went by Billy Pugh.
