Has anyone heard anything about Noble drilling buying out Pacific Drilling ??? ---

I haven’t looked at this latest quarterly financials but how much cash does Noble have on hand right now? What’s PacDrill’s cash position? What is it’s present market cap at? Can Noble afford to borrow the $$$ it will take to buy a PacDrill? When they bought Frontier all the money came from Shell for 0% interest. Noble ain’t gonna get that again from Shell that’s for sure. ---

Probably a joke, trolling for a laugh. Some guys always like to start the most asinine crap and see how many people take the bait. I know a couple of hands (Noble hands ironically) that would start every tour with the rhetorical question: “what type of rumor should I start today?” ---

I honestly think Diamond will make a play for someone like that to seriously upgrade the age of their fleet. I could see Diamond going after Ocean Rig or Vantage. Possibly see COSL as well purchasing someone, backing of the Chinese rather big.
