The right-wingers just can’t seem to understand that they are paying (and paying dearly) for universal health care already and are paying out the ass for every other social safety net program they hate so much because the likes of Jeaux Boss bribed their way out of paying their share.
They are the people who will fight to the death for the right to starve to death sheltering under a bridge or dying of some easily treated ailment because they can’t afford to have it treated until they have to go to an emergency room at taxpayer expense.
In the meantime they will spend their unemployment checks on chemically enhanced junk food and curse anyone who tries to fight for labor and consumer protection laws.
Look at the latest scandal regarding the DEA and the opiate industry. That is the newest poster child for our incredibly corrupt congress and campaign funding schemes.
For the most part the right wing American worker has drunk so much Kool-Aid he thinks it is champagne. All the while they think they are “keeping what they earn” … at least until they lose their home because they can’t pay for a broken leg or some other ailment that would be nothing more than an inconvenience in the rest of the developed world.
