# New Tropical Cyclone forms over Southern Indian Ocean

Tropical Cyclone 14Swas located over the southern Indian Ocean about 546 NM south of Diego Garciaat 09Z 24 Feb 2015 and was moving towards the west at about 5 knots. Max winds were estimated at 35 knots at 06z,however more recent satellite photos suggest may now have reached 50 knots ormore. Update: 26 Feb - Tropical Cyclone Glenda nearing hurricane strength over the southern Indian Ocean
