Sorry, I misinterpreted your reference of your “1,600” to mean a 1,600 ton Master. Never mind.

I did my Celestial at CMTI & it was a 12 day course or something like that. Had to do a couple sign offs with a DE & a sextant when i got home. No big deal. Submitted my paperwork to the USCG & less then a month i had oceans on my license.
