I just sent my application for an original mmc to the LA Rec and want to check the status. How do I find my mariner number and application ID?

They will send you an email as soon as they acknowledge receipt of your application. It will have the mariner and application reference numbers in the email. It can take over a week after you send the application before they send the receipt acknowledgment.
If you didn’t provide an email address then this info will probably come by mail.
The email will also have the link to check status going forward.
