Got a friend with a mate OSV who’s been soaking on his Master 1600 for a couple years now. Can he upgrade to a 3rd Mate AGT without having to retest since the OSV Mate test is the same as the 3rd?
Depends on what the NMC says when your friend applies for it. Odds are your friend is going to have to retest.
