Whether any mines have been laid along the normal route in Omani waters is immaterial, the possibility that there may be mines is enough to scare Owners, Charterers, Insurers and Masters from risking VLCCs carrying over 2 Mill. Bbls. of Crude, with a crew of 20-24, to find out the hard way.

This bombing campaign sucks. The only thing worse would be the US taking another stupid “Let’s Rebuild Them Back” strategy where our contractors & military personnel protecting them gets picked off by militias drawing the war on for another decade. I hope the US goes back to the millenniums old, tried & true policy of destroying an enemy & letting civil war & internal conflict bring them back up. We’re okay at destroying shit but since WW2 we’ve had a horrible track record at nation building, especially in the Middle-East.
Those who really want equal rights for women, democracy, tolerate leadership & regime change in Iran shouldn’t jump on the “put everything back the way it was” bandwagon in Iran IMO.
You got many points right but during last ca 5 years I read/ heard Mr. Sacrebleu announced many innitiatives and had many virtue signaling stunts and none materialized. Where are his 20 000 French crack troops to Ukraine. ?

However I see some advantage of France participating there as they are already a Muslim country . Are they not. ?
As far as rebuilding is concerned expect Blackrock, Halliburton can handle it due to their long M.E. experiences and will be willing as some of their ukrainian projects did not go according to the plan.
