Job Description:
•Maintains and keeps office building, apartment, or similar building in clean and orderly condition by performing routine maintenance.
•Cleans, sweeps, mops, scrubs, vacuums, empties trash containers.

Requirements:
•Excellent Janitorial skills

Education Required:
HS Diploma or Equivalent

Years of Experience:
0-1 year of Janitorial experience

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday (Day Shift)

Length of Assignment:
Contract (1 Week)

Pay Rate: $10/hr

How many years of maintenance experience?
How many years of labor experience?

Is this serious? Did some major corporation HR recruiter get so effing lazy that they just called up a headhunter to find an effing janitor? This has to be some kind of joke…I mean it has to be! This can’t be serious…can it?

You know, this might not be bad fit for a Class of 2012 KP deckie! Note when S&S says:

What more could one of our little darlins want anyway? They don’t have huge student loan debt to pay off like all the State school grads do so $10 an hour is big money. You can live for $175 a week in a cheap motel, eat fastfood and drink Old Milwaukee beer. If you get lucky you can go out with the maid.

Then it’s nose to the grindstone and become a “permanent” janitor!

Obviously, they leave it to office staff that was hired yesterday to run boilerplate ads. I see these kinds of absurd job posting all the time. Its also obvious that the people assembling the boilerplate for any particular ad often do not know anything about the job skills required.
