# Gulfmark Offshore orders four newbuild PSVs from two US yards

Gulfmark Offshore ordered two PSVs from BAE Systems in Mobile,Alabama and two from Thoma-Sea Marine in Houma,LA.

Good catch! I usually try and stay up on the new builds and wondered if Gulfmark was building anything in the Gulf. They usually stay pretty busy building stuff overseas.

The US built ones look like they will be nice boats.

the Thoma-Sea vessels looks to be a TAI design. a smaller version of the GOL vessel being built at their Lockport yard.
