It is very easy. Call your local Royal Norwegian Consulate, and ask if they are familiar with the process. If so, they will give you guidance. If not, they will call a different consul who is familiar with it. All you need are the forms in the link Kraken posted, but your employer will need to sign and stamp one of the pages. All the NMD (Norwegian Maritime Directorate) is doing is checking for STCW compliance. You should receive a CRA the same day as your consul appointment, which is a valid 3 month temporary equivalency until the NMD can issue you the Norwegian Endorsement. ya ya ya…
