Sixth year on product tankers, but this is my first contract joining a vessel in the States on a C1/D. For those who have done it: how thorough is the CBP interview for crew in transit, and beyond the seaman’s book and visa, are there other documents they usually ask to see? Trying not to show up at the airport unprepared.
